At the end of 2024, Paul-Tech reached a significant milestone – by December, we had installed over 100 soil stations across the United Kingdom. This milestone reflects our strong growth and successful expansion into the UK market.
“The end of the year has been incredibly strong for us in the UK, and the start of 2025 looks just as promising,” said Mikk Plakk, CEO of Paul-Tech. “We are actively working on several high-potential partnerships, with many negotiations currently underway. Our innovative, data-driven approach to improving crop production has resonated strongly with farmers across the region.”
In November alone, we installed 38 new stations, expanding our partnerships with existing clients and welcoming new ones. Our soil stations are being used in various research trials to explore how reduced mineral fertilisers and digestate impact soil health and crop yields. One standout collaboration is with Future Food Solutions, where farmers are already using 10 soil stations, with three more to follow soon. “As we give soil a voice, UK soils are gradually making themselves heard through us,” added Plakk.
Paul-Tech is a science-driven agricultural platform that helps farmers optimize their operations using real-time soil data. By employing innovative soil sensors, we provide detailed insights into fertiliser efficiency, soil health, and processes occurring within the soil, empowering farmers to make informed decisions for sustainable crop production.
Since its founding in 2019, Paul-Tech has successfully supported farmers in Estonia, Finland, and Sweden. In early 2024, the company entered the UK market, marking a significant step in its international growth. Later that year, Paul-Tech further expanded its reach by establishing operations in the Lithuanian market.
