Paul-Tech expands in Lithuania with Dotnuva Baltic

Tallinn, 12. september 2024 – This fall, the Estonian agriculture startup Paul-Tech will begin a collaboration with Dotnuva Baltic, Lithuania’s leading agricultural machinery dealer. The partnership aims to expand Paul-Tech’s presence in the Lithuanian market, offering local farmers innovative solutions to manage their agricultural processes with greater precision.

Paul-Tech’s CEO, Mikk Plakk, described the partnership with Dotnuva Baltic as a significant step in the company’s expansion plans. “With Dotnuva Baltic’s strong presence throughout the Baltic region, they will serve as the official representative of Paul-Tech’s field stations in Lithuania. This collaboration will enable us to reach Lithuanian farmers and help them optimize their inputs for better yield results,” explained Plakk.

Dotnuva Baltic represents renowned Western European and US manufacturers specializing in professional agricultural machinery, providing a wide range of services from machinery sales and maintenance to grain and farm equipment solutions. The company is known for its long-standing reliability and professional service.

Dangis Valaitis, CEO of Dotnuva Baltic, highlighted the key factors in selecting Paul-Tech as a technology partner: the tangible benefits to agricultural businesses, the long-term perspective on digital data collection and analysis, and the proven quality of service on an international level. “We are pleased to have found a mutual understanding with a modern partner who provides a unique and necessary solution for farmers,” said Valaitis.

Paul-Tech is a science-based agricultural platform that enables farmers to make more precise daily decisions using real-time soil data. By leveraging soil sensors developed from multiple generations of research, Paul-Tech measures fertilizer efficiency and provides insights into various soil processes. The platform’s main advantage is its ability to save money through accurate assessments of fertilizer needs and optimizing tasks to be performed at the right time and under the right conditions.

Paul-Tech currently serves over 120 clients across Estonia, Finland, and Sweden. Earlier this year, the company also entered the UK market, where it is already working with over 20 clients.

Paul-Tech was founded in 2019 by Mikk Plakk, Tiit Plakk, Eve Plakk, and Anu Einberg.
