Paul-Tech Test Farms award recognition took place at Next Bite 2025, Europe’s leading food innovation event organised by EIT Food. The event was held in Brussels on 15–16 October and focused on future food systems.
The Test Farms Pitch Competition took place as part of the programme, and Paul-Tech secured second place. This recognition highlights the strength of the company’s science-based soil monitoring approach.
During the competition, Paul-Tech’s CEO Mikk Plakk presented the company’s innovative science-based decision support system which integrates proprietary soil monitoring solution, provides real-time insights into various parameters including soil nitrogen levels and helps farmers make data-driven decisions.
“Beyond the cash prize, Paul-Tech’s recognition in Brussels highlights our company’s growing role in the European agri-technology landscape and reinforces our mission to help farmers turn soil data into smarter and more sustainable decisions,” said Plakk.
Next Bite 2025 brought together Europe’s top innovators, researchers, policymakers and startups to explore the role of technology and collaboration in shaping sustainable food systems. Paul-Tech exhibited in the Startup Village, alongside more than 50 innovative startups presenting their solutions on topics ranging from regenerative agriculture to climate-neutral food systems.
